Book Cover - Showing Your True ColoursThe palliative carer and author Bronnie Ware, as well as other studies, have found the number one regret of the dying was –
“That I wished I had the courage to live a life true to myself, not the life others expected of me”.
So then will this be your No. 1 regret in your life? Truly do hope not.

In my new book “Showing Your True Colours” you will get to read the stories of people who figured out why they were born and the work they were put here to do; they are about people who are now living extraordinary lives in the most ordinary of ways. The book and their stories are about showing you how you can be just like them. You too can live your best life, having figured out why you were born and the work you are meant to be doing, which will soon have you showing your true colours as you become the captain of your own ship.
At some point, most of us want to know what life is all about and why are we here. Or more importantly, why we were born and what are we here to do. Mark Twain is often misquoted as saying: ‘The two most important days in your life are the day you are born and the day you find out why.’ Whereas he would surely have said: ‘The three most important days in your life are the day you were born, the day you find out why and the day you then go live it!’

People have asked me countless times, ‘For what reason was I born and what do I need to be working at?’ Every time, my answer is the same: ‘I don’t know, for how could I? If you do not know why you were born and the work you need to be doing, what would make you think that I know?’ This is the case for you too: I cannot give you a reason as to why you were born and what work you need to be doing, but I can help you find your own answers.

So how do you figure out why you were born and what work you need to be doing? This is a very different question, which this book will help you to address. In fact, it will go much further, as it will also invite you to consider what might be stopping you from living the life you were born to live and doing the work you should be doing. And it will suggest how you can successfully overcome these obstacles.

How can I promise you all of this? Well, for the simple reason that I lived, trained and studied to be a monk for nearly a decade, along with my knowledge gained from over thirty-plus years of working with people to enable them to answer these sorts of questions, and what I discovered about the meaning of true success by driving halfway around the world, from London to Sydney along the Silk Road. All of these experiences have enabled me to write my new book Showing Your True Colours and share the stories of other people just like you, who have found their own answers – as you will too, having finished it. Yes, that really can be the case. Having discovered why you were born and what you were put here to do, you give yourself the best chance of living the life you want.
