If you do want to make the life you were born to live become an everyday reality for you then you will need to crack on for all you have is now.

While, at the start you may well need to keep your decision to pursue the life you want to be living and the work you want to be doing to yourself, just like so many of those who got to share their stories in Showing Your True Colours did. That was until they were ready to face those around them.

Maybe tell your partner and possibly one or two trusted souls, yet possibly do not mention it even to your extended family; for your family and friends will likely have genuine concerns about how you will now make a living. It may even be the case that if you tell colleagues and friends, they will criticise you for walking away from the career you have built, which might have you starting to question yourself at the precise moment you are about to take the next step to go live the life you really want to be living. Listening to them may only heighten your own concerns, thoughts and fears at this precious and delicate time for you.

When you need to be building up your self-belief to go forward with your life, you might not be met with any positive responses. In fact, all you might receive are the inner fears and concerns of others, with their fears and concerns projected onto you. If this becomes the case, you will need to accept it really is your responsibility alone to decide whether to go live this new life of yours or not.

It might even be the case that the people surrounding you will be jealous of your success for having figured out why you were born, let alone the fact that you now intend to go live your truth. The truth of what you are now about to do could very likely make those around you feel uncomfortable. It could remind them how often they have not followed their own dreams. Therefore, you may need to withdraw and keep your plans to yourself until you act on them.
Having made the decision to pursue the life you truly want to be living, it is then all about cracking on (a sailing expression, which means to get moving or hurry up) for, as we know, time and tide wait for no one.

If you want to follow up on what has been written here and get to read fourteen stories of people who figured out why they were born and learned to live their truth – and how you can too then please get a copy of my new book Showing Your True Colours
